Auroras
"Music is a uniting force transcending all barriers created by man."
Our beats make the sky glow-- with this motto in their hearts, AURORAS, the western music club of IET Lucknow quenches the musical thirst of music enthusiasts of the college. The club has its modest beginning in the year 2013 and was revived in the year 2015 by Rishabh Prakash Singh when music talent of the students could no longer be confined to the hostel rooms of the college. Since it's establishment, the club members have been exploring genres ranging from the blues, fusion and funk to progressive rock. Auroras has this far been an excellent platform where engineers rejoice at the ecstacy that the harmony of notes and the precision of percussion creates.
Although the club is one of the newly formed on the horizon, it stands no less than any other club of the college. Many of its members have fared well in the field music, namely Pranav of the 2013 batch, who appeared in Indian Idol 6; Jyoti Dhwanikar, who qualified for 'Maruti Suzuki Colours Of Youth' and won many others intra and inter institution music competition; Rachit Srivastava of the 2020 batch who works as a music producer along with his studies.
Also, the college band, THE NEMESIS is also a part of the Auroras. The band performs in college fest, ENCORE and many inter college events.
All in all, the team never fails to appreciate those having passion towards music. Trained musicians, intrumentalists, newbies in the field of music and those who are willing to learn, all find heaven in this place.

The club has a meet atleast once every week preferably in the college band room located in SAC.
