Kalakriti

‘Kalakriti’ the word is formed by combination of two sanskrit words ‘kala’ that means art and ‘kriti’ that stands for creation. This club aims at pioneering young creative and artistic minds so that they can express their thoughts, vision and ideas in a creative form. It helps in enhancing one’s power of imagination and unleash their potential. It was founded in the year 2007.

Working

This is the club that endeavours to make our college more beautiful by using their skills decorating the walls with elegant paintings. All the decorations and enhancements in any college event is performed by this club. They also make road paintings creating a completely distinguished vibe in our campus. Overall it helps the students of our college to relish their life within the campus.

Selection Procedure

This a club for art freaks but the only prerequisite is enthusiasm. The selection process is of two rounds. In the first round, the students were supposed to make a sketch/painting/craftwork on the theme ‘science fiction’ or ‘fantasy’ within 90 minutes. The selected students were then interviewed in the second round where they were also required to present their old artworks, if any.

At present the working of this club is coordinated by Manjul Kumar Verma, Nitin Yadav and Shreya Singh.
