Parmarth's Cloth distribution event
Usually, we people have a lot of stuff that may be of not our use but means a lot to someone else we care about.
"THE PURPOSE OF LIFE IS NOT ONLY TO BE HAPPY.IT IS TO BE USEFUL, TO BE HONOURABLE, TO BE COMPASSIONATE, TO HAVE IT MAKE SOME DIFFERENCE THAT YOU HAVE LIVED AND LIVED WELL"
To fulfill that purpose "MUSKAAN " an initiative by IET'S social club "PARMARTH" is organized twice a year once just before winter and other just before summer.
HISTORY
By its name, it reflects our aim i.e. to make people happy, by what is possible from our side.
"IF WE CAN, WE MUST", inspires us to do our duties well, if we are capable to make someone smile by just giving some of ours which make no loss to us.We IETIANS decided to help those who don't have clothes to cover themselves. And organized "MUSKAAN" cloth distribution event for poor and needy.It was organized on

ARRANGEMENTS FOR "MUSKAN"
2-3 months prior to event volunteers reach different hostels and departments informing people about the event and motivate them for an active participation. Both winter and summer clothes are collected from all college students and faculty house.Usually, these clothes are rejected one. These used clothes were collected by volunteers and gathered in SAC for rearrangement according to their size and repacked for the event .
On the day of the event, all these packets were transported to Tiger chauraha of IET Campus where all these are divided into sections and volunteers are allotted to a particular section. A kind of fare is set up near IET entrance in which we separately arrange clothes according to size for boys and girls. Boys having a section of shirts, t-shirts, jeans, lowers, sweaters e.t.c. and girls having a section of top, jeans, sarees, kurtas e.t.c. Our motto is to provide at least a pair to all.
The Year 2017
Our students of "PARMARTH" from Mohibullapur, Madiyaon, Patan and Bodhisatya Nagar also helped us in informing more and more people about the event.
All our efforts proved to be worth after the success of "MUSKAN" we successfully server 250+ people.
this year it was organized on 31st NOVEMBER in which 150+ slum children along with their parents and 50+ other needy people around IET LUCKNOW and mess workers in hostels were served.
this event was organized under our faculty adviser DR.V.K.SINGH (CIVIL DEPT.)
"MUSKAN" was also organized in slums by our club with the support of our alumni too.
this year ER.H.K.YADAV( pass out 1992) provided us with new blankets which were distributed in the slum of MOHIBULAPUR.Also, 35 new pairs of shoes are arranged by 2nd year
